Unicorn Writers’ Conference exclusively offers book manuscript review sessions with agents and editors throughout the day of the conference.

What makes our sessions unique is the advanced review of the first forty pages of your manuscript.

How Manuscript Review Sessions work: You sign up and pay the fee on the Registration Page for the conference and to schedule a session. Then send an email to our Scheduling Coordinator to receive a personalized schedule for your day at the Unicorn Writers’ Conference. Based on availability, we will set up a half-hour meeting with your preference of agent or editor. Our agents’ and editors’ specialties are listed in the genre chart. Match the genre of your work with the appropriate agent and/or editor by using the Genre Chart.

Submit your material to be reviewed to the Coordinator following the details found in the checklist below. Get ready for your meeting(s) with a major agent or editor!

There is no limit to the number of sessions you may schedule, but sign up soon because these times are limited.

DEADLINE for all materials is August 1,2018

Manuscript Review Session Checklist:

Please be sure to use this checklist to properly format your manuscript before sending it to us for advanced review. It is your responsibility to be sure that your submission conforms to the following:

-- Double-spaced

-- 12-pt. Times New Roman font

-- Last name and title of the work on the top of every page

-- Page numbers on the top right of every page

-- First & last (legal) name, email, phone number, title of work, and word count on the top of the first page

-- Book synopsis included in the document, so the entire submission is one attachment

-- Please do NOT include a cover sheet, as this extra page will take away from the available pages for your submission.

-- Email your work to unicornbookings@gmail.com as an attachment with your last name and the title of your work in the subject line. Include the time of your meeting and the person you are meeting in the body of the email.

-- All submissions are limited to a total of 42 pages – 40 pages of manuscript and 2 pages of book synopsis

Unicorn hosts a number of publishing professionals with a vast amount of knowledge to share. You can sign up for a half-hour meeting with any of these speakers.

How One-to-One Review Sessions work: You sign up and pay the fee for the conference and the number of desired one-to-one review sessions. Then send an email to our Scheduling Coordinator to
