Sarah Bedingfield

Associate Literary Agent
Levine Greenberg Rostan Agency
http://lgrliterary.com/
http://lgrliterary.com/who-we-are/team/sarah-bedingfield/
Prior to joining LGR in 2016, Sarah began her publishing career in trade fiction editorial at Crown and Hogarth. There, she worked with a range of bestselling and award-winning novels, including the Man Booker International Prize winning debut, THE VEGETARIAN by Han Kang, and THE LITTLE PARIS BOOKSHOP by Nina George. She loves most types of literary and upmarket commercial fiction, especially novels that show powerful imagination, compulsive plotting and unique voices. Epic family dramas, literary novels with notes of magical realism, darkly gothic stories that may lead to nightmares and twisty psychological suspense are among her favorite things to read. A southerner at heart, she can’t help but love books set in the south, but she’s a die-hard for any world immersive enough to make her miss her stop on the train, cry in public, or desperately unable to sleep.
Sarah hails from North Carolina, where she graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a double major in Psychology and English. She spent her first three years in New York teaching high school English in the Bronx and earning an MS in Education from Hunter College. While she misses the warm weather and oversized oak trees of her first home, she wouldn’t trade the inspiring, beautiful energy of “The City” and of publishing for just about anything (short of the beach). When she isn’t reading, Sarah loves to hike and go camping, travel to countries she’s never seen before, cook new recipes, and practice/learn photography and interior design.

Ben Grange

Literary Agent
JABberwocky Literary Agency

www.awfulagent.com
On the Myers-Briggs scale, I relate most to the ENFP type. So, if I went on a Hero's Journey right now, I'd probably be the sidekick.

I've been the assistant to Joshua Bilmes, Eddie Schneider, and Sam Morgan at JABberwocky Literary Agency since September 2015. In April 2015, I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in English literature, and emphases in Shakespeare and creative writing. Four months later, I picked up and moved from Utah to New York, where I started an internship at Dystel & Goderich Literary Management. Not one to sit around and wait, I continued to interview until I landed the job at JABberwocky a month later. As an assistant, I manage Joshua's query inbox, read and evaluate manuscripts—both from new authors and clients—and am learning all the ropes of being an agent.

Before working at JABberwocky, I interned at Dystel & Goderich, the Bent Agency, A+B Works Literary Agency, and Shadow Mountain Publishing, where I worked in agenting (obviously), marketing, publicity, editorial, and production.

As of January 2016, I have no clients, but I have two prospective clients I hope to sign within the coming months, and by March 2017, I hope to be working with four or five clients. Like I said, I'd probably be the hero's sidekick; but I don't plan to be for much longer.

John Rudolph

Dystel & Goderich Literary Management
www.dystel.com
John Rudolph joined DG&B in 2010 after twelve years as an acquiring children’s book editor. He began his career at Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers as an Editorial Assistant and then moved to the G. P. Putnam’s Sons imprint of the Penguin Young Readers Group, where he eventually served as Executive Editor on a wide range of young adult, middle-grade, nonfiction, and picture book titles. He graduated from Amherst College with a double major in Classics and Music. While John’s list started out as mostly children’s books, it has evolved to the point where it is now half adult, half children’s authors —and he’s looking to maintain that balance. On the children’s side, John is keenly interested in middle-grade and young adult fiction and would love to find the next great picture book author/illustrator. For adults, he is actively looking for narrative nonfiction, especially in music, sports, history, popular science, “big think”, performing arts, health, business, memoir, military history, and humor. He is also interested in commercial fiction, but is very selective in what he takes on.

Zoe Sandler

Literary Agent
Zoe Sandler joined ICM Partners in October 2011, and has spent much of that time working for and learning from department head Esther Newberg. She is actively building her own list of author clients, a mix of fiction and nonfiction, books for kids and for adults. She likes her adult fiction dark, with a hint of the strange. Narrative nonfiction is also a focus of hers, particularly in the areas of science, food, the environment, and social justice. For middle grade fiction, she is drawn to quirky humor, and for YA, voice-driven stories helmed by no-nonsense female protagonists. Prior to joining ICM she spent three years at an academic press in North Carolina, after graduating from McGill University in Montreal with a BA in English Literature and Hispanic Studies. She was born in England and raised in southern California, but is delighted to call New York City home.

Tim Wojcik

Associate Literary Agent  & Rights Manager
Levine Greenberg Rostan Literary Agency

http://lgrliterary.com/
Tim Wojcik joined LGR in 2012 and currently assists Daniel Greenberg and works in the rights department with Beth Fisher. He also represents a few fiction and non-fiction titles, and is actively looking to grow his list with compelling narratives that excite him.

Tim loves to read a range of non-fiction, including food narratives, humor, pop culture, popular history and science, and he’s always had a soft spot for well-written literary fiction. Some of his favorite authors include Roberto Bolaño, Ken Kesey, David Foster Wallace, and Denis Johnson.

Before joining the agency he moved from place to place: Kansas to New Orleans to the Netherlands to Houston, before attending Hendrix College in Arkansas, where he wrote prose poems and read experimental British fiction. Though he loves living in New York, Tim still has a soft spot for the south, and looks forward to his visits to Poland, where his family is from.

In his free time, Tim looks up recipes to try out at home, plays lacrosse, basketball, and the drums, and continues to write surreal poetry.
