Cara acquires nonfiction, most recently in the categories of narrative nonfiction, pop culture, humor, diet, and lifestyle. Before coming to Gotham and Avery, she was at Simon Spotlight Entertainment, where she worked on several New York Times bestsellers, including Mackenzie Phillips' High on Arrival and Jim Norton’s I Hate Your Guts.
