Bernadette Szost is the owner of Portfolio Solutions, an agency representing approximately 50 illustrators of children’s’ books and related materials.

Born and educated in England, Bernadette relocated to the United States in 1980. She has been actively working in the industry since 1986, and in September of 2009 proudly celebrated Portfolio Solutions’ tenth anniversary. Bernadette owes the success of her agency to the wonderfully talented illustrators in her group as well as her loyal and professional office staff.

When she isn’t working tirelessly in her busy agency, Bernadette runs a small German Shepherd Rescue group. But, she especially enjoys taking care of her own horses, dogs and cats, none of which could be accomplished without her amazingly supportive and much-loved husband!
